*Does Phoenix have the D? Can the Mavs find postseason glory?

Both teams survived grueling seven-game Conference Semifinals series to reach the Western Conference Finals. The Suns played in them last year, only to lose to the Spurs. The last time the Mavs were here, they lost to the Spurs in 2003. Can Dirk Nowitzki and the Mavericks reach the franchise's first-even NBA Finals or will former teammate and two-time MVP Steve Nash and the Suns go to their franchise's third Finals (1976 and 1993)?

Game 2 - Tonight (Friday) Phoenix at Dallas 8:30PM ET, TNT
*Boris Diaw drained a turnaround jumper with 0.5 seconds left to help Phoenix steal a 121-118 victory from Dallas in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on Wednesday. Diaw finished with a career-high 34 points, shooting 13-of-23 from the floor. Steve Nash also delivered an MVP-like performance, tallying 10 of his 27 points in the fourth period, while dishing out 16 assists. Shawn Marion posted 24 points and 13 rebounds despite being hobbled by a sprained ankle, whereas Raja Bell left the game in the fourth period with a leg injury and did not return. Dallas, which recovered from a halftime deficit to lead most of the fourth period, lost the lead with less than a minute to play only to regain it on a Devin Harris jumper with 4.8 seconds left. Harris scored a career-high 30 points, shooting a scorching 12-of-17 from the floor. Dirk Nowitzki also stepped up big, posting 25 points and grabbing eight of his 19 rebounds on the offensive glass. Dallas' Josh Howard sprained his ankle and did not return for the rest of the contest.

Game 3 - Tonight (Sunday) Dallas at Phoenix 8:30PM ET, TNT
*It was questionable whether Dallas' Josh Howard would see court time after spraining his ankle in Game 1, but after Game 2 the only question being asked was the Suns wondering, "how do we guard this guy?" Howard tied his career high with 29 points and Dirk Nowitzki pumped in 30 and 14 rebounds for the Mavericks in their 105-98 home win over the Suns in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals on Friday. The Suns were paced by Boris Diaw's 25 points and 10 rebounds, while Shawn Marion posted 19 and 19 and Steve Nash added 16 points and 11 assists. While Dallas welcomed Howard back, the Suns were without Raja Bell who did not dress due to a leg injury.
