Hey. I heard this in the news. McDonald Fries are cooked in Meat fat. So I am assuming that this also applies to Burger King.

But on the positive note. I don't know how many of you know about the website www.zabihah.com Well, it said there that Lamb served in the American restaurant OutBack Steakhouse is Halal meat. They get their lamb from New Zealand and its Halal. You jsut gotta tell tel to prepare it separately.

I feel like the whole lamb being halal from new zealand sounds liek a lot of bullshit. I've heard time and time over again but it doesn't sound believable, why would a country that isnt notorious for a muslim population make halal lamb only?

Didnt McD and all these places shift from cooking in animal fat to cooking with veggie shortening? I think they did that more than 10 years ago! They do all their deep frying in veg shortening now.

I am not sure about the Vegetable shortening. My mom was telling me about the animal fat. She heard it in pakistani news on the dish. So I just wanted to address it to y'all.
